How long is the consultation?
Allow up to an hour and a half for the initial consultation and 30-45 minutes for any follow-up appointments.
What happens during the appointment?
The consultation belongs to you. Take time beforehand to think about what you want to achieve from the first consultation and what might be realistic for you.
During the initial consultation I will take a detailed case history covering your own and your family's medical history. We will also discuss your life style and diet and any other factors you feel may be contributing to your symptoms. If you have any recent blood test results, please bring these with you.

What form will the herbs be in?
The herbs are generally in the form of a herbal tincture containing a mixture of herbs to address any underlying imbalances contributing to your symptoms. The tincture contains alcohol. Herbs can be used in the form of powders and teas for those that cannot take alcohol. Herbs may also be incorporated into creams for topical application.
Herbs can be used alongside conventional medicines, but caution must be exercised as there are some herbs and drugs that should not be used together. Please bring any supplements or drugs (or pictures of labels) you are currently taking to the consultation. It is also important to let your GP know what herbs and supplements you are taking.
How long until the herbs take effect?
Herbs take time to work and a follow-up consultation is usually advisable. This generally takes place about one month after the initial consultation to monitor your progress and adjust the treatment if necessary. If you have been suffering from a chronic condition for many years the treatment may take some time and the herbal mixture is likely to change as the treatment progresses.

Telephone consultation to determine whether herbal medicine may be for you (15 minutes) - Free
Aromatherapy massage:
£45 for 60 minutes
£60 for 75 minutes
£70 for 90 minutes
Tinctures - £10-12 for one week's supply.
Teas - £3.50 for 50g
If other products such as oils, creams or powders are necessary, you will be advised of the price for approval before they are prepared.
Location
I practise from a number of locations in Hove and Brighton, so please contact me to find the location that is most convenient for you. If you are not based in East Sussex or do not wish to attend a consultation in person, consultations can be held remotely.
Consultations in London may be possible, but the prices will be higher due to travel and increased room costs. Please contact me if you wish to arrange a consultation outside my local area.

Cancellation Policy
Please provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. If less than 48 hours notice is given the room booking fee will be charged. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the full consultation fee may be charged.
